Agnes Ellen Whitehead

We are saddened to announce the passing of Agnes Whitehead, age 68, on November 1, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of the late William and Agnes (nee Skean) Whitehead. Loving sister of William (Catherine) Whitehead of Harleysville, PA, Theresa Loar of Lebanon, OR, and the late Kathleen Whitehead of Philadelphia, PA. The beloved aunt of her three nephews William Loar, Gary Michael Loar, and Matthew Sadowy, and the niece of  Anna Whitehead.

Agnes was born and raised in Philadelphia, she attended Most Blessed Sacrament Grade School and was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls, Class of 1975. She moved to the Juniata Park section of Philadelphia and later Harleysville, PA. She resided at Saint Mary Manor in Lansdale, PA for the past six years.

Agnes will be remembered for her lively and one-of-a-kind personality. She loved taking pictures with people and places that she visited, going to the casino, Elvis and country music, watching scary movies and the Phillies, and just socializing. She especially loved animals and children. She will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday November 11, 2025, from 10:15am at St. Mary Manor Chapel, 701 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am. Interment will be private. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Agnes' memory to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
