Anita Simonetti

Anita Simonetti,91, of Coatesville, PA known to her friends as “Pinch”, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Freedom Village, East Brandywine. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Simonetti, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. She was born in the Bronx, New York City, New York on October 5, 1925, daughter of the late Hyman and Esther Lipow and sister of the late Morton Lipow. Anita worked at and retired from the Guardian Life Insurance Company as an executive assistant. She was known for her quick wit and sense of humor and a favorite among those who worked at Freedom Village. She is survived by her three sons: Roy of Gap, Michael and his wife Eileen of Exton, and Robert and Eve of Queens, NY. Granddaughters Dana and Wendy, and great granddaughter Samantha. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, August 26, at noon to 3 pm at the Whitford Country Club in Exton, PA.
