Carl Naimoli

Carl “Ducky” Naimoli age 85 on June 11, 2018. Formerly of Southwest Philadelphia and Folcroft. Ducky was a 1951 graduate of John Bartram High School and a Korean War Army Veteran. Ducky was a two sport superstar playing the GE Industrial League against the ERA’s greatest players like Chamberlain, Chaney, Gola, etc. Ducky also played baseball and was drafted by the New York Yankees as a shortstop out of high school. He worked for many years at the General Electric plant on Elmwood Avenue in Southwest Philly. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Labowitz). Devoted father of Donna (David) Shellenberger, Carl E., Charles (Gina) and David (Doreen). Also surived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday 9:15 am to 10:45 am at St. Gabriel Church, 233 Mohawk Avenue, Norwood. Funeral Mass 11 am. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
