Catherine E. (Mayberry) Rafter

Catherine E. "Cass" (nee Mayberry) Rafter age 73 on February 21, 2021. Cass was formerly of Southwest Philadelphia and a graduate St. Barnabas School and of West Catholic Girls High School Class of 1965. Cass was known by many people in Southwest Philly as she was a school crossing guard at 65th & Buist Avenue for many years. Cass is the daughter of the late Robert E. and Catherine E. (nee McGovern) Mayberry.

Loving mother of Catherine (Norton) Drohan, Teresa (James) Crothers and Denise (Michael) Bergen. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 sisters: Mary Ellen Mayberry and Suzanne (John) Castelluccio, 3 brothers: Robert E. (Mary) Mayberry, John (Carol) Mayberry and Thomas Mayberry;  and also many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Monday March 1st at SS. Simon and Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester from 10:15am to her Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Mass will be live streamed, click here for the link . Masks are required in church. Interment to follow Mass at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA
