Cecilia (Mielich) Moss

Cecilia  Moss (nee Mielich), age 81, passed away on June 25, 2024, In Mechanicsburg, PA. Born on July 18, 1942, in Southwest Philadelphia, Cecilia was a cherished member of her community and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Cecilia graduated from St. Barnabas Elementary Scholl and West Catholic High School for Girls. She dedicated over 20 years of her career as a Telephone Operator at the Hospital  University of Pennsylvania, where she was known for her loving and kind nature.

A lifelong Phillies fan and lover of reading, Cecilia also had a passion for baking and cake decorating, often delighting family and friends with her beautiful and delicious creations. Her hobbies brought joy not only to her but also to those around her, enhancing many gatherings and celebrations. Cecilia's warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Beloved mother of Christine Walls (David), Michael Moss (Susanne) and Richard Moss (April). Loving grandmom of Jacqueline Kohl (Jeff), Zachary, Madeline, Caitlyn, Allison, Michael, Ryan, Isabella; and her great-granddaughter Sadie.  Loving sister of Cathy Marsh (late Louie) Tony Mielich (late Connie), John Mielich (Regina). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Cecilia was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Matthew, her parents Tony and Cecilia Mielich (nee Brady), and her siblings Michael, Neil, Jimmy and Jeannie.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday July 1st from 9:30am to 10:50am at King Funeral Home, 209 N. Newtown Street Road (Rt. 252), Newtown Square, PA. Prayer Service at 11:00am. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
