David H. Sebra passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 25, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on July 22, 1962, Dave lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and a deep love for his family.
Dave dedicated his career to being a machinist and mechanic, where he took immense pride in his work and found joy in fixing things and embracing new projects. A proud member of the Knights of Columbus, he held the esteemed title of 4th Degree Knight, reflecting his commitment to service and community.
He was a devoted husband to his wife Patricia "Trish" (nee McCollum). He cherished his role as a father to Jessica Malinowski (Bob), Dave (Alyssa), and Joe, and he found boundless joy in being a grandfather to his grandchildren: Travis, James, Melanie, Emma, Jayden, John, and Bentley. His family was his proudest accomplishment, and each moment spent with them was treasured.
Dave's personality shone brightly; he was a man who would give you the shirt off his back. A gentle spirit, he was known for his kindness and warmth that touched the lives of all who knew him. He had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying riding motorcycles, fishing, and hunting. His involvement with ABATE as a Road Captain also cemented his love for the road and camaraderie among fellow biking enthusiasts. He relished in moments spent playing with his children and grandchildren, always bringing laughter and joy into their lives.
Dave is survived by his beloved wife, children, brothers Ken (Bev), Gary (Cheryl), and Jimmy (Amanda), as well as his mother-in law Cathy (nee Moll) McCollum, numerous brother and sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember him fondly. His warmth, laughter, and generous spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Donald and Alice (nee Reinhart) Sebra, his mother, Ruth (nee Wilson) Sebra, his father-in-law, Charles McCollum, as well as his brothers-in-law, Kevin and Dennis McCollum, and his niece, Amy Altarelli.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the viewing at St. Anastasia Church, located at 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA, on August 1, 2025, from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
