Dolores Poff

Dolores Poff died suddenly on October 24, 2021 at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. Dolores was 89 and was the original "uber" driver before it was even thought of. She would arrange transportation for people who needed a ride in Southwest Philly to the doctor's office, food market, etc. either using her own car or securing a ride with someone else. She always decorated the outside of her home for different holidays for many years on Passyunk Avenue and it always brighten up the corner. Dolores was her own person and wasn't bashful in telling you that. She will be missed.

Dolores was the daughter of the late Lawrence A. and Mary G. (nee Kennedy). She is survived by her brother Lawrence A. Poff Jr. (Jean Browne) and two nieces

Dolores years ago made arrangements with the funeral home and wanted something very simple and no fuss. According to her wishes she will be cremated with no service.
