Dorothy "Dot" Quirk

Dorothy “Dot” Quirk, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025, at the age of 76.

Born on February 2, 1949, Dot was the daughter of the late Agnes “Sis” Barrett and John Quirk, and sister to the late Agnes Phillips.

Dot kept a tight circle of lifelong friends who were more like family. She had a dry, often biting sense of humor and a strong sense of self. She didn’t sugarcoat things, but her honesty and quick wit were part of her charm.

She had a deep love for her beagles, Molly and Bridget, and often said she looked forward to seeing them again someday.

Dot worked for many years at Day & Zimmermann before retiring. She valued honesty, loyalty, and sharing a good laugh above all else.

In keeping with her wishes, services will be private.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by those lucky enough to have known her.
