EDWARD W. PALMATORY, 93, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 31, 2019. Born to Thomas and Grace Palmatory. He was married 62 years to the love of his life, Theresa (nee McDonough) until her passing in 2012. Loving father of Theresa Rafter (William,) Veronica Gianforcaro (Richard,) and Renee Heininger (Richard.) Special Pop-Pop to 8 grandchildren, Drew and Edward Lawlor, Richard, Adam and Rebecca Gianforcaro, Sean Donahue, Colin and Alec Heininger and 5 great-grandchildren, Hailee and Zayden Donahue, EJ Lawlor, and Lily and Nathan Gianforcaro. Preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Grace, brothers, Thomas, James and Joseph. Survived by sister, Veronica, and brothers, Richard, John and Robert, and his family at Wellspring Brightview Woodbury Lake, especially Joseph Morgan, all his caretakers and staff, as well as the BAYADA Hospice Family Ed was a veteran of World War II and retired as a Lieutenant from the Philadelphia Police Department. He worked on the railroad prior and had a life-long love of trains. Ed was a multi-talented man who could fix anything and make anything all with an impeccable attention to detail. In the last several years of his life, he suffered from Alzheimer's Disease but was still meticulous in everything he did. Ed touched so many lives during his time on this earth and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Thursday, April 4, 2019, from 8:45 AM – 9:45 AM at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, 130 Church Street, Glassboro, NJ. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM followed by Interment at Gloucester County Veterans' Memorial Cemetery.
