Elizabeth "Betty" Baldwin

Betty passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2026, at the age of 98, surrounded by her family. Betty and her beloved husband, Al, raised their 7 children in Southwest Philadelphia. In 1995, well after the death of Al, Betty's son John purchased a home in Aston, Pennsylvania and he asked his mother to live with him.

Betty was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (nee Dalton) Blourne. She was predeceased by her husband Al; her daughter, Betty Anne; her sons: Chuckie and John; her brothers: Charles, Louis, and James; and her sisters: Marie Pavese, Dorothy Horan, and Joan DiMarcello.

Betty was the Matriarch of the family for her surviving children: Susan Dinella (the late Ron), Bobby (Debbie), Jimmy (Carol), Michael (girlfriend Kellie Freida), daughter-in-law Valerie and son-in-law Patrick Haw. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews, and her dear friend, Harriett Watts. 

Relatives and friends are invited to Betty's visitation on Friday, September 4 from 10:00 am until 10:45 am at St. Joseph's Church, 3255 Concord Road, Aston, PA. Please pull around to the back of the church when you arrive, visitation is held in the hall under the church. Betty's Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am. After Mass, Betty will be reunited with her husband at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, PA.
