Elizabeth "Lizzy" Clemson

Elizabeth "Lizzy" Clemson, age 57, passed away on April 22, 2023. Lizzy was raised in Southwest Philadelphia attending St. Barnabas School and graduating from West Catholic High School for Girls in 1983. Growing up Lizzy excelled in different softball leagues in Southwest Philly and while in high school ran in the Penn Relays winning a number of events. Spending time with her grandchildren was what Lizzy really enjoyed in later years. To lose her with being so young and so abruptly is difficult for family and friends to cope with.

Lizzy is survived by her children Kevin Gallagher (Angela) and Alicia Wetling, her grandchildren Kevin Gallagher III, Mya Wetling, Kennedi Gallagher and Kassidy Gallagher, her mother Julia (nee Quinlan) Clemson and her two brothers Andrew Clemson and John Clemson. She is also survived by her long time companion Kenneth Sheehan. Lizzy is predeceased in death by her father John J. Clemson, by her sister Julie Galuzis, and her brother James Clemson.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday April 28, 2023 from 9:00am to 10:20am at St. Barnabas Church 6300 Buist Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19142. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am. Interment will  follow Mass at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
