Francis J. Witz

Francis "Fran" Witz, age 62 passed away on February 20, 2022. Fran was living in Springfield but always saw himself as a Southwest Philly guy. Fran graduated from Saint Barnabas grade school and was a 1977 graduate of West Catholic High School for Boys. He was a cable installer for a number of years and was very active in the AOH Club in Briarcliffe and the Knights of Columbus on Baltimore Pike in Springfield.

Fran was the son of the late William and Mary (nee McShane) Witz. Beloved brother of Mary Bartlett (Ken), Bill (Jane and the late Maureen), Peggy Sullivan (Bill), Mickey Witz (Anne), Betty Clark (Joe), John Witz (Tracy), Sam Aaron (Amy), Amy Flite (the late John), and Patrick Aaron (Denise). Fran was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, February 28 from 9:30 am until 10:45 am at St. Kevin's Church, 200 West Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064. Fran's Funeral Mass will follow at 11 am. Interment in the future at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Fran's memory to the Black Jack Kehoe AOH Club, Division 4, PO Box 3, Glenolden, PA 19036 would be appreciated.
