Gertrude C. (Curran) Gilligan

Gertrude C. Gilligan (nee Curran) entered into eternal life on February 9, 2024, at the age of 102. Gert was born and raised in Philadelphia but until recently lived in Annunciation BVM Parish in Havertown. She worked at St. Joseph's University for over twenty-five years as an administrative assistant. Gert is predeceased by her husband Paul J. Gilligan who died in 1991.

Gert is survived by her three children, Paul J. Gilligan Jr. (the late Margaret), James Gilligan (Clarissa) and Mary Pat McClatchy (Joe). Also survived by seven grandchildren Christine, Paul III, Brendan, Jay, Jack, Caroline, Zoe and one great granddaughter Anastasia

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Thursday February 15th from 9:45am to 10:45am at St. John Neumann Church,380 Highland Lane, Bryn Mawr, PA. Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in West Conshohocken.
