James E. Bilson, Jr.

James (Jim) E. Bilson, Jr., 80, of Morton, Pennsylvania, died peacefully on November 12, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Southwest Philadelphia, Jim graduated from West Catholic High School in 1959 and worked for nearly 40 years in the airline industry.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Jim.  He enjoyed swimming, drinking coffee, watching football, dining out and spoiling his dogs.  But, most of all, he loved spending time with his family.  Jim was a devoted caretaker for all of his family and the most generous, loyal and selfless son, brother, husband, father and grandfather.  He always provided a shoulder to lean on, and he did so with a smile.

He is predeceased by his parents, James E. Bilson, Sr. and Jeannette Bilson (nee Davis), and his sister Frances Duross.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marie (nee Zygmunt), his children James E. Bilson III (Dana), Kristina Stufflet (John) and David Bilson (Heather), his grandchildren Julianna, Amanda, Eliza, Emma, Jonathan, Olivia, James IV, his step-grandchildren Kyle, Heather (Pat) and John, his step-great-granddaughter Jordan, his brothers Tom (Jackie) and Joe (Eileen), and many nieces and nephews.

Jim was a man of great integrity who positively touched countless lives with his genuine, loving nature, and he left all who knew him with many wonderful memories. He was deeply loved and will be forever missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, November 17 from 9:30 am until 10:50 am at King Funeral Service, 209 N. Newtown Street Road, Newtown Square. A Funeral Service will follow the viewing at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory to the SPCA would be appreciated.
