James T. Odea

James T. O’Dea age 83 on May 2, 2018. Jim was born and raised in South Philly. He was a 1952 graduate of South Catholic. Jim was an army vet who served from 1955 to 1957. Jim and Winnie raised their family in Southwest Philadelphia. He worked for the A & P Food Market for many years. Husband of the late Winifred (nee Sullivan). Devoted father of Michael (Helene), James (Mary), Eileen and the late Kathleen. Grandfather of Nicole (Matthew) Mitchell, Maille, Brehon, Bridie, Deirdre, Sean, Maura, Brian and Jacquelynn. Great Grandfather of Ailish, Brielle and Marco. Brother of the late John, Thomas, Joseph, Francis, Mary Costello and Catherine O’Dea. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Monday at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Peace Church, 208 Milmont Avenue, Milmont Park. Viewing before Mass from 9:30 am to 10:15 am at Our Lady of Peace. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
