James E. Rastatter, Jr.

James E Rastatter, Jr passed away January 13, 2021 after an extended  stay in a Nursing Home & succumbing to pneumonia.

"Jimmy" was born July 7, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA  to James Sr & Kathleen Furey Rastatter & was the oldest of eight siblings. After moving to Havertown in 1959, he attended Annunciation BVM school & then graduated from Monsignor Bonner HS & went on to attend some college. Jimmy had joined the pipefitters, before his illness impacted his daily life & ability to work. Jimmy resided in Schuylkill County for the last 4 decades & very much enjoyed the outdoors, observing nature, hiking & collecting various specimens. He will be cremated & buried on January 23, 2021 in a small graveside ceremony attended by his immediate family.

Jimmy is predeceased by his mother Kathleen & brother Bill, & survived by his father James, Sr, & his siblings John, Paul, Dan, Mary, Nancy Guerra (Mike) & Joe Rastatter (Jeanine), along w/ several nieces & nephews.
