John J. Wilson, Sr.

John J. Wilson, Sr. age 81 passed away on January 25, 2023 at Cape May Regional Medical Center in Cape May Court House, NJ. Beloved husband of Catherine (nee Adair) Wilson. Devoted father of Kathleen Wilson-VanKeuren (Deb), John Wilson Jr. (Marion), Joseph Wilson (Angela) and Michael Wilson. Beloved grandfather of Joshua (Michelle), Danielle, and LJ. Great Grandfather of Ryker. Also survived by his brother Thomas Wilson and many nieces and nephews that he loved and adored.

John is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Catherine (nee Pierce) Wilson and his siblings Theresa Kacala, Delores Thomas, Joseph Wilson, and Charles Wilson.

John was a graduate of St. John Neumann High School and a retired Philadelphia Police Officer after 23 years of service. He was a member of the Strutters New Year's Fancy Brigade, St. Barnabas CYO, and  the Greater Wildwood Elks Lodge #1896. He and his wife enjoyed summers in North Wildwood and were avid Phillies fan. He had many lifelong friends that he loved to stay in touch with.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday evening from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at King Funeral Home, 209 N. Newtown Street Road (Rt. 252), Newtown Square, PA 19073 and Wednesday morning from 9:50am to 10:50am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022. Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am. Interment at SS . Peter & Paul Cemetery.
