Joseph A. Flanigan

Joseph A. Flanigan, age 72, passed away on April 16, 2023. Joe was a long time resident of Washington Township, NJ. Joe was raised in Southwest Philadelphia and attended St. Barnabas School and was a 1970 graduate of West Catholic High School for Boys. Joe worked for many years at the Voorhees Township Board of Education but had to retire early for health reasons. He was avid Philly sports fan and loved to watch Phillies games as he enjoyed a roast beef sandwich with a beer. Joe also enjoyed his stays down the shore

Joe is survived by his loving wife Elaine (nee Yotko) Flanigan and his son Shawn Flanigan. Joe is also survived by his siblings James Flanigan, Sister Patricia Flanigan I.H.M.,, Betty Collins, Tom Flanigan and many nieces and nephews. Joe is predeceased by his sister Eileen Blackmore.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday April 25, 2023 from 10:30am to 11:20am at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 362 Ganttown Road, Turnersville, NJ 08012. Funeral Mass at 11:30am. Interment to follow Mass at All Saints Cemetery in Newfield, NJ.
