Lawrence R. Martin

Lawrence R. "Larry" age 61 died suddenly at his home on July 8, 2021. Larry was a life long resident of Southwest Philly. He was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Boys class of 1978. He worked for many years as a butcher for Genuardi's Markets. He eventually got involved with home healthcare which came in handy as he took care of his wife Patty. Larry was an avid fan of Philadelphia sports teams but especially the Phillies and Eagles.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife Patty (nee Fellows). Devoted father of Thomas "TJ" Martin and Rich Mitchell (Amanda). Loving pop pop of Abbey Hart and John Augustus "Gus" Mitchell. Brother of Karen Martin.

Larry is pre-deceased by his parents Mickey and Peg (nee Sullivan) and his sister Linda Boyle.

Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside service on Friday July 16th 11am at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA. Family and friends will gather in main driveway of cemetery before 11am and than process to family grave site.

A funeral luncheon will follow burial at Erin Pub located at 36 W. Winona Avenue, Norwood, PA. All are invited to attend and share memories of Larry.
