Marybeth Lennox

MaryBeth Lennox, 58, passed away suddenly on May 17th, one month after a fall that led to a brain injury. Born on June 7, 1965, she was the third of four children to Bill and Betty Lennox. Raised in Southwest Philadelphia, MaryBeth attended St. Barnabas, where she formed a close-knit group of friends that made her childhood wonderful. She later attended Villa Maria Academy and spent a few years at West Chester University.

MaryBeth built her career in accounting at Woodcock Washburn and Xsell Resources, where her sweet and kind disposition endeared her to every coworker, "Everyone loved Mar", they would say.

Beloved daughter of Betty (nee Walls) and the late Bill Lennox. She was a loving sister to Bill (Carmela), Sue, and Colleen, and devoted aunt to John, Bill, Jim, Matthew, Ryan, and Kailey. MaryBeth doted on her family, always providing a soft place to land for those she loved.

For the past ten years, MaryBeth was the dedicated caretaker for her parents. After her father's passing in 2020, she became her mother Betty's constant companion and best friend., Her loss will be deeply felt by all, especially her mother.

Join us on Friday, June 7th for MaryBeth's Birthday Celebration of Life at King Funeral Service, 209 N. Newtown Street Road (Rte. 252), Newtown Square, PA 19073. Visitation with her family after 10:00am. Her Life Celebration will begin at 11:00am followed by lunch at Teca's Restaurant in Newtown Square, PA. In lieu of flowers the family request donations in MaryBeth's memory be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society .
