Maurice B. Wheeley

Maurice B. Wheeley age 92 on March 5, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Mary C. (nee Conway). Loving father of Mary C. Jeffery (Ray). Beloved grandfather of Kristin Craig, Michele Murtaugh (Jack), Denise Jeffery, Karen Jeffery and Suzy Szafran. Pop pop of Wyatt, Maggie, Emilee, Ian, CJ, Katelyn and Carter.

Affectionally called "Wheeley", he was born in Bushyfork, North Carolina, which he was very proud of. Wheeley was a Navy and Army veteran. He served in the navy during World War II as a electrician's mate which he eventually turned into his career as a electrician/inspector being a electrician's union member. He was a tinkerer at heart and loved doing small and large jobs not only around his own home but also at family and friends. In retirement he became a regular for coffee and friends at the local Burger King. He loved and enjoyed his good times down the Jersey shore, Florida and North Carolina. But most of all he loved being with his family no matter where the location.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Friday March 12th at 10am St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073.Masks are to be worn at the church. Interment will be held at a future date at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA
