Patrick Huhn

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Brother, Patrick "Earl" Huhn, on April 19, 2025 at the age of 69 from complications from Corticobasal Degeneration, a rare neurological disorder diagnosed in 2019. To help others, Pat volunteered to be in a case study and donated his brain and eyes for future research at the University of Pennsylvania. Pat graduated from West Catholic High School for Boys in 1974. He worked various jobs but his last was for the FedEx Corporation as a tractor trailer driver.

Pat was a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles. He loved going to the shore and Folcroft Swim Club in the summer and going to the mountains in the winter with his friends. He was an avid reader and was great at playing Jeopardy. Pat is surived by his sister Rosemarie Huhn and his brother Michael Huhn. He will be greatly missed by his family and many, many friends.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday night, April 24th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Madeline Church, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park, PA and Friday, April 25th at 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Pat’s memory to the Penn Medicine FTD Ctr.
