Patrick Joseph Taggart, Jr.

Patrick Joseph Taggart Jr., age 68, passed away on January 14, 2022 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Joe was a resident of Essington but was raised and lived in Southwest Philadelphia for many years. Joe attended West Catholic High School for Boys before joining the Army in 1971. Joe is retired from the U.S. Marshall Service and also the Philadelphia Federal Credit Union. Joe for many years owned and operated the Patrick J. Taggart Sr. AOH Club in Southwest Philly. Joe had a sparkle in his eye and a heart of gold.

Joe is survived by his loving wife Linda (nee Miller) Taggart and his beloved children Patrick Taggart (Courtney), Ryan Taggart (Sarah) and Brooke Taggart. Loving pop-pop of Skylar, Cameron and Delaney. Brother of Charles "Chickie" Barclay, Carol Gibson, Phyllis Davis, Patricia Davidson, Dorothy Derr, Eugene Taggart, John Taggart, Michael Taggart, Kelly Taggart and the late Lois Halloran. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday January 22nd from 9:15am to 10:45am at St. Gabriel's  Church, 233 Mohawk Avenue, Norwood,, PA 19074. Funeral Mass at 11am. Interment at a future date.
