Phyllis A. Lennon

Phyllis A. Lennon, age 85, passed away on June 18, 2025 at Little Flower Manor in Darby. Phyllis was the daughter of the late Stephen and Agatha (nee Hilscher) Lennon. She is survived by her godchildren and cousins. Her role as godmother she took very seriously and was very proud of her godchildren, supporting them in any way she could. 

Phyllis was a lifelong resident of Southwest Philadelphia. Phyllis was a proud graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls 1958 and was an active member of the alumnae association for many years. She loved parish life at St. Irenaeus Church serving as a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the altar and rosary society, and for many years was the coordinator for the Fashion Show at the parish. Phyllis had a long career at PECO, serving as an executive secretary of which she was very proud. Phyllis also loved to travel and has been around the world on her journeys.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at St.Irenaeus Church, 7300  Grovers Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19153 from 9:30am to 10:45am. Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am. Interment at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Poor Clares Monastery, 1271 Langhorne-Newtown Road, Langhorne, PA 19047-1297 would be much appreciated.
