Robert W. Bender passed away on February 19, 2020. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Abate). Devoted father of Robert (Julie), John (Donna), Lynn (John) Slevenski and Anthony (Jen). Loving grandfather of Jonathan, Nathan, Kirsten, Brittany, Christopher, Anthony and Domenic and great-grandfather of Lilli and Kenzie. Also survived by his siblings: Jean Twilley, Dolores (Mickey) Gisriel, Joann (Don) Bovee, Mike (Wanda) Bender, Ed (Cathy) Bender and Franny (Jim) McCready.
Predeceased by his brother Freddie (Elsie) Bender and his sister Carol (Otis) Bullard.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Sunday evening from 6pm to 8pm and Monday morning from 8:15am to 9:15am at King Funeral Home, 209 N. Newtown Street Road, Newtown Square (Rt. 252), Newtown Square, Funeral Mass 10am Monday at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery immediately after Funeral Mass.
