Rose McCormick (nee Erdlen), age 92, formerly of East Lansdowne, died October 17, 2022. Daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (nee McConnell) Erdlen. Rose was the beloved wife of the late John “Jack” McCormick. She was the youngest of four children. Rose was preceded in death by her brothers Frank and Richard, and also her sister, Catherine. She was a devoted and cherished mother of Jack (Linda), Frank (Rosemarie), Bob (the late Kate), Rose (Joe) Kozacheck, Pat (Chris), Cathy (Henry) Lyons, Joe (Melissa), Dolores, and Tom (Jennifer). Lovingly known as "Gran", she was devoted to her 25 grandchildren: Jack (Serena), Kate (Brian), Ryan (Kim), Scott (Jen), Beth (Matt), Sue (Mark), Tim (Susan), Sara (Sean), Regina (Jake), Megan (Mike), Laura (Pat), Rob (Meghan), Shawna (Nick), Joseph, Patrick, Ann Marie, Colleen, Ryan, Andrew, Katie, Cecilia, Joseph, Brian, Erin and Emily and 21 great grandchildren: Alyssa, Liam, Connor, Brenna Rose, Brian, John, Jack, Ted, Henry, Molly, TJ, Michael, Bridget, Luke, Kearney Rose, Maura, Ellie, James, Elise, Sean, Cora Rose.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 9:15 – 10:45 am at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square. Rose's Funeral Mass will follow at 11 am. After Mass, interment will be at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery where she will be reunited with her beloved Jack. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose's name to Camilla Hall, 100 Maxis Drive, Malvern, PA 19355 would be appreciated.
