Thomas D. Haigh

Thomas D. Haigh, age 79, passed away on July 13, 2024. Beloved husband of Madeline "Mattie" (nee Anderson) Haigh. Loving father of Karen De La Fuente (Jose). Loving "pop" to his granddaughter Nina De La Fuente.

Tom was proud of his South Philadelphia roots and was a graduate of Bishop Neumann High School for Boys, Class of 1962. He was long-time employee of PECO where he was a dispatcher.  Tom was a very good athlete, enjoyed playing tennis, golf and jogging.  He was very active, and as we all know life can change quickly. Tom had a long-time battle with Parkinson's disease that robbed him of his very active lifestyle. He fought the good fight and will be missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday July 18, 2024  from 10:30am to 11:30am at King Funeral Home, 209 N. Newtown Street Road (Rt. 252), Newtown Square, PA 19073. Religious service at 11:30am. Interment to follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations in Tom's memory to the Parkinson's  Foundation would be much appreciated.
