Timothy J. McMenamin

Timothy J. McMenamin of Folcroft passed peacefully on July 22, 2025.

Tim was born on February 18,1954 in Darby, PA to Thomas Anthony and Austasia McMenamin (nee Cramer). He was raised in Folcroft and Upper Darby, attending St. George, St. Laurence, and graduating from Monsignor Bonner High School in 1972.

Tim was proud to serve in the United States Air Force where he was a Weapon’s Mechanic at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. Following his Honorable Discharge, he went to school to become a certified technician for printers and copiers and he started TMI Copier Service in 1981. He sold his business in 1999 but continued to service copiers for several different companies until his semi-retirement in 2019. On Saturdays, he could be found at Do It Best Hardware in Wayne building grills or helping customers.

In 2019, he began volunteering at Wings of Freedom Aviation Museum which is an all volunteer organization that is committed to preserving aviation history in the Delaware Valley. He was on the Restoration Team which was responsible for the restoration and maintenance of all historic aircraft located at the Museum.

Tim was also known as the Grill Guy and if you needed your grill fixed or cleaned, he was your guy!

These may seem like great achievements, but Tim’s greatest legacy began when he met Anne Stubblebine at Gino’s at age 15. Anne was the Love of His life and they married in 1972 and had eleven children and 17 grand children! They were married 47 years until Anne’s passing in 2020. In addition to his parents and loving wife, Tim was predeceased by his brother Eugene and his son Luke.

Tim enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and loved to ride bikes and go down to his condo in Woodbine often recording his adventures and posting them to Instagram as his Internet Persona “The Unofficial Spokesgeeser.”

Tim is survived by his loving children Jennifer (Bob) Moore, Heather (Bernie) Johnston, Tim (Christina), Gretel (Dan) Kobasic, Seth (Eric), Moses (Anika), Ellen (Josh) McKinley, Kathryn (Stephen) McMenamin, Alexander, and Rosalee McMenamin, his grand children, Bobby, Emily, Annie, Kayley, Sean, Katie, Ally, Scarlett, Jubilee, Tadhg, Eben, Hananiah, Obadiah, Penny, Lilly,Andy, Logan, Leia, and Eleanora, his siblings Tom (Wendy) McMenamin, Anne Marie (Bob) Barrett, Geraldine (Chris) Miller, Austasia McMenamin, and Mary Grace (Bob) Hallinan, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
