Vincent J. Geraci

Vincent J. Geraci age 76 died suddenly on December 17, 2020. Vince was a lifelong resident of Southwest Philadelphia and a devout catholic. He was a member of the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts USA. Vince attended St. Barnabas School and was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Boys Class 1962. While a student at West Catholic he enjoyed attending the American Band Stand with Dick Clark. He graduated from La Salle University and earned a Master of Arts degree from Rowan University originally Glassboro State College. He was a long time caring and devoted teacher to his students at Ralph J. Steinhauer School in Maple Shade, NJ.

Vince's passions were the Performing Arts, theatre shows in Philadelphia, music, books and movies. He was a national member of the American Film Institute. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends down the shore in Wildwood, NJ and also in Connecticut.

Vince was the son of the late Vincent P. and Mary (nee McGarvey) Geraci. He is survived by his sister Barbara Schinchirimini (Frank), his nephew Joseph Smith (Trish), loving Godchildren and many cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Saturday June 5th from 9:30am to 10:20am at St. Barnabas Church, 6300 Buist Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19142. Funeral Mass 10:30am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.

In lieu of flowers donations in Vince's memory to St. Barnabas Catholic School, 6334 Buist Avenue, Phhiladelphia, PA 19142 would be appreciated.
