William M. Lennox, Jr.

William M. Lennox, Jr. suddenly on September 23, 2020 at his home. Bill was 83 years old and formerly lived in Southwest Philadelphia. After Retiring from PECO, you could find Bill at McCall’s Country Club where he actually once had a hole in one. (Best Day Ever) Bill became an avid sports fan at an early age, as his father worked for the U of P Athletics Department. So, Penn football was his first real love. Even after he climbed the corporate ladder he would still tell stories about working for the ticket sellers union. His last love, besides his family, was watching golf, even the reruns during Covid. Bill was truly one of a kind. He had the unique ability to make everyone feel special and loved.  He is already missed and our hearts are broken without him.

Beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Walls) Lennox. Devoted father of Bill (Carmela) Lennox, Sue Lennox, Mary Beth Lennox and Colleen Lennox. Bill is also survived by his 6 beloved grandchildren, John Horne, William Lennox, James Lennox, Matthew Haviland, Ryan Haviland and Kailey Haviland. He is also brother of Nancy Cline, Jane Klenk, Mary Ellen Domzalski and the late Benedict Lennox.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation with Bill's family on Friday October 2nd from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at King Funeral Service, 209 N. Newtown Street Road (Rt. 252), Newtown Square. Funeral Service at 11:00 am . Interment at a future date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Bill's memory be made to Philabundance or the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.

With COVID restrictions still in effect masks are required and social distancing is expected for Bill's visitation. State mandate only allow 50 people inside at once in the funeral home. If you are concerned with social distancing, we would recommend posting a condolence to Betty and her family on-line. At Bill's request, he was cremated so his urn will be present at the visitation.
