William J. Provence, Jr

William "Billy" J. Provence, Jr. age 58 suddenly on July 27, 2018. Formerly of SW Philly St. Clement's Parish. A West Catholic Boys High School graduate class of 1978. Billy was a roofer in the family roofing business, a court officer for the City of Philadelphia and an oil truck delivery man. Billy was an avid reader, especially of American history and the lives of the Saints. He enjoyed sharing what he read with others and was an outstanding storyteller who captivated his audience with his vast knowledge and witty humor. Many would agree that Billy was one of the funniest people they ever met. Billy had a great love for his family, especially his daughter, Janine. He loved their many trips to Disney and going out to eat. Billy cherished his parents, brothers and sisters. He always said that he appreciated growing up in a big family surrounded by so much love and support. Faith was a huge part of Billy’s life. He had a special devotion to the Blesssed Mother and prayed the rosary often. He also encouraged many to pray the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy. Let us continue his faith journey by praying the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet for him and many others who are in need. Thank you, Billly for your love, wisdom, joy and of course your many years of entertaining us. You will be sorely missed. God bless!   Loving father of Janine. Son of the late William J. Funeral Mass 11 am. Interment at future date. In lieu of flowers donations to Camilla Hall, 100 Camilla Drive, Malvern, PA 19355 would be appreciated.
