William J. Rafter

William J. "Bill" Rafter, a devoted husband and proud veteran, passed away suddenly at his home on May 29, 2025. He was born on November 20, 1948. Bill served his country as a Marine during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he worked and eventually retired from the Army Corps of Engineers.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa "Terry" Rafter (nee Palmatory). He leaves behind his stepsons, Drew Lawlor and Ed Lawlor, along with his step-grandson, EJ Lawlor. He is also survived by his cherished goddaughters, Barbara Mullee Porter and Colleen Logue. Bill is also survived by many cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret "Peg" Rafter, who was always remembered in his heart. William's legacy will live on through the love and memories shared by his family and friends.
