Charles McCollum Obituary

Charles F. "Chuck" McCollum age 86 passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday June 11, 2021. Chuck was a proud St. Thomas More aka Tommy More graduate. He was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He worked for a number of years at the Evening Bulletin newspaper until it's closing. He eventually became the owner of Squire Motors, a car wholesale business, which he enjoyed tremendously for many years. Chuck worked as a cook in the Army. At home, he loved to cook delicious meals for his family, such as Monte Cristos, French Toast, and Bacon. He enjoyed spending his sunny days on the golf course and the hunting seasons in the country. Chuck was a family man and enjoyed spending every holiday with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Chuck survived by his wife, the love of his life, Cathy (nee Moll) McCollum. Devoted father of Danielle Sullivan (John), Trish Sebra (Dave), Kelly McCollum (Tim Covert), Matthew McCollum and the late Kevin and Dennis McCollum. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and his sister Madeline Clark (Joe). He was predeceased by his brothers Joseph and Bernard, as well as his sisters Bernadette and Marie.
