Lawrence V. "Larry" Kozak age 74 entered eternal life on August 20, 2021. Larry was a US Postal employee for his entire working career starting as a carrier to eventually being a postmaster. After retirement from the postal service, Larry worked for Smart Park, Inc. for 17 years, where he shared his kindness and good natured sense of humor with all those he served. Larry's Catholic faith was very important to him and was the rudder for living his life. He was very active over the years at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Drexel Hill in numerous devotions and groups, including being an altar server as an adult. He was very pro-life and had a great devotion to the Divine Mercy Chaplet. For over ten years he made casseroles for a local Homeless Shelter. Larry was also very proud of his Polish heritage, and with a couple of his sons, was able to visit his family in Poland.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Kathleen (nee Erdlen). Devoted father of Father Lawrence F. Kozak, Matthew R. (Doriann), Timothy P., Stephen M. and Michael P. (Laureen). Loving "Pop" of Matthew, John Patrick, Luke, Felicia, Dorothyanna, Faustyna, Trinity, MargaretMary, Danielle, Ruth, Gwendolyn, Emilia, River, and Brynn Colleen. Also survived by his two sisters Maria Gullo and Stephanie Kozak-Allen.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday August 26th from 9:30 am to 10:45 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA 19026, to be followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 am. Interment at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed and the link can be found below. For the viewing and Funeral Mass, the family has requested that everyone please wear a mask during these uncertain times.
