Michael P. Danko, Sr age 74 passed away on May 23, 2022 after a short battle with cancer. Mike was a proud Army Veteran serving his country for four years. He was a morse code interceptor and he received many medals: National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the Cross of Gallantry with Palm Device. After serving his country, he worked for and retired from the Steamfitters Local Union 420.
Michael is predeceased by his wife, Eileen T. (nee Gallagher) Danko. He is survived by his daughter Amy McPeak (Mark) and his son Michael P. Danko, Jr (Jennifer). He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren: Jacqueline, Kaitlyn, & Natalie McPeak and Patrick & Charlotte Danko.
Michael will be buried on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 with a graveside service starting at 10:30 am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Family and friends should gather in the main driveway by 10:15 am.
