Veteran Services

Our staff is committed to providing quality service and professional assistance to help families complete the necessary forms to obtain benefits that are provided through the United States Department of Veterans Affairs for deceased veterans.

Veteran Burial Benefits

With Honorable Discharge papers, also known as a DD214, our funeral home can secure a burial flag. The deceased veteran can also receive military honors at the grave, or a church, or even at the Delaware County Veteran's Memorial on West Chester Pike in Newtown Square. Also, a deceased veteran's spouse will receive ten certified copies of the Pennsylvania Death Certificate.

A veteran can also be buried in a Veteran's Cemetery at no cos to the family. The Veteran Administration will also provide a vault and grave stone. The closest cemetery to the Delaware County area is Washington Crossing National Cemetery. With a DD214, our funeral home can coordinate with the cemetery and the family, the day and time for burial of either a casketed or cremated remains. In the future upon their death, the spouse can be buried with their veteran spouse.

Who Qualifies?
